But anyway, I love absolutely love German Shepherds (and damn you dA for not letting me use letter "ä" in the title..!) and even though the fur almost drove me mad thousands of times, it was pretty much fun to make a painting of one. 
Since I'm not too familiar with painting longer fur, my technique and style on that is still in progress, but I think the outcome this time isn't as horrible and awful as it could have been. 
I'd love to try out painting some other dogs and perhaps felines too in the future, so don't be surprised if something a bit different pops up in your inboxes once in a while!
