Bring Me The Horizon - Suicide Season

First horse of the year! I planned to make it a painted unicorn but after the background took its final form, I figured the outcome might have been.. well, a bit too something I can't really put into words! But anyway this piece ended up having a lot of personal meaning for myself and I don't feel very comfortable explaining it more than that. I'll give you guys some space to interpret it the way you like. I think I'm especially happy with this one because the background is fully hand-painted too and I didn't use any textures for it like I've often done with these type of backgrounds.

I hope you like the painting too, and thanks for taking a look! :)

I've actually been having trouble telling if these pictures are real or drawn. XD I was debating. Absolutely AMAZING! You bring out the true beauty in horses in all of their different forms. The realism is just extraordinary! I'm not even a millionth of as good as you. You're just amazing! You can almost get lost in the pictures. You can see a soul in the horses' eyes. I can' t even tell you how absolutely amazing your art is!

Such amazing wonderful work! I so admire you and your style, the cripsness and details - so lifelike yet somehow much better then real life - crisper cleaner brighter. Sigh, please keep posting up your work, they are such an inspiration for me. I come to your gallery everytime I have a bit of art block - so wonderful and beautiful.

Thank you so very much for the kind words, it really means a lot to know you like my paintings! And like I commented on one of your pieces earlier, I consider YOU to be one of my inspirations as well. If I never had found your artwork, maybe my own horse paintings wouldn't have become as detailed as they are these days! :)

It also feels great you pointed out my paintings being kinda "brighter than reality" because that's exactly what I'm aiming for! It took me time to find my own style, and even though my art could still be considered realistic, I want to exaggerate brightness, colour and beauty of the real life in my paintings. So yeah, thank you a lot once more!
