I planned to make it a painted unicorn but after the background took its final form, I figured the outcome might have been.. well, a bit too something I can't really put into words!
But anyway this piece ended up having a lot of personal meaning for myself and I don't feel very comfortable explaining it more than that. I'll give you guys some space to interpret it the way you like. I think I'm especially happy with this one because the background is fully hand-painted too and I didn't use any textures for it like I've often done with these type of backgrounds.

It also feels great you pointed out my paintings being kinda "brighter than reality" because that's exactly what I'm aiming for! It took me time to find my own style, and even though my art could still be considered realistic, I want to exaggerate brightness, colour and beauty of the real life in my paintings. So yeah, thank you a lot once more!
